Giving Tuesday

  • Why Should You Donate to Characters of Character This Giving Tuesday?

This Giving Tuesday, your support of Characters of Character helps build something every child deserves~a firm foundation of strong character and civic values that will guide them for a lifetime.

Children today face pressures, challenges, and distractions earlier than ever. Our mission is simple but powerful: to equip children with core values like kindness, respect, responsibility, confidence, healthy habits, and good behavior through engaging characters, creative activities, and meaningful resources.

When you give to Characters of Character, you help us:

  • Bring character-building resources to underserved communities
Many children grow up without access to tools that teach positive social and emotional skills. Your donation helps us put books, activity kits, and character programs directly into their hands.

  • Support social–emotional learning in schools, hospitals, community centers, and homes

Our character programs strengthen empathy, emotional awareness, communication, and resilience~skills proven to support success in school and beyond.

  • Empower children to become kind, responsible, and confident citizens
A strong civic society begins with strong character. Your gift helps shape tomorrow’s leaders~one child, one lesson, one character at a time.

  • Create a ripple effect in families and communities
When children learn strong values, they inspire the people around them. Better behaviors, stronger relationships, and more connected communities start with teaching character early.

  • Your Giving Tuesday gift does more than support an organization~

it shapes a generation. Children are the future leaders of tomorrow. Let’s teach them well.

By donating to Characters of Character, you invest in children’s futures, strengthen communities, and help us continue our mission to empower young hearts and minds with values that last a lifetime.

Manners Monkey visits Fort Campbell!

Characters of Character had the opportunity to visit Fort Campbell with Manners Monkey with a grant from the Overwatch Alliance foundation. What a great time we had! I first had the opportunity to read our new book, “Come Learn with Me~Manners Monkey” and talk about what good manners means to the children. Then, they met the character and gave hugs and gentle high fives! Finally, we made a paper bag puppet of Manners Monkey and there was not a face that didn’t smile, a heart that didn’t beat and mouth that didnt speak, Thank YOU for coming. This was a good day!

Some places we have been and faces we have captured on the header are from the past few years….

  • Miss Roy Utah used Characters of Character as her platform!

  • The band Chicago donated 800 Superhero boxes, some of which went to Shriner’s Children’s Hospital in Chicago

  • Fort Campbell received Superhero boxes for a few years in a row

  • Fall Out Boy donated for Comer’s Children’s Hospital in Chicago

  • Coca-Cola donated for the YMCA

  • Chris Stapleton donated for Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital

  • Lauren Atkins and Thomas Rhett donated for Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital

  • The Nashville Predators donated for Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital and Fort Campbell

  • Characters of Character supporters donated to Bransford Early Learning Center in Robertson County and we have painted different characters on canvas with the children at Libraries, Park Districts and Classrooms! We love meeting new people and places like YOU!

Our impact continues to grow with supporters like you. YOUR support helps us get into the hearts and conversations of our children and youth to introduce and to reinforce these vital core values. This friends, is priceless…..Miss Joni and Team Characters
