Teaching Kids The Power of Friendship
Friends, we all have one, we all need one. What is a friend? Our character Friendship Frog has some ideas for you and your children to engage in, talk about and learn about friends.
"Teaching Kids the Power of Friendship" is an article I wrote for Nashville Living Magazine, I continued it with this blog.

These blogs have plenty of ideas and ways that you can teach, talk about and engage your children in learning about and being a good friend. Most children like to learn from visuals and doing, which is how I prefer because I then internalize what the lessons are and remember them more clearly. My very favorite quote is by Benjamin Franklin,
TELL me and I forget. TEACH me and I remember, INVOLVE me and I learn. And there is nothing that holds more true!
The Travel Pal is a visual that invites you in to learn about our pal, Friendship Frog. We can't wait to meet you! A thought for the children going to camps, summer, winter or fall: Ask your child to draw Friendship Frog on copy paper. Then, add pages of paper, lined or plain and staple the picture as the cover of their new Autograph Book! They can gather autographs from the friends they make on their journey, make one new each year and be sure to ask your children who these children are, talk about them and get to know them, they might be your child’s new best friend.
