The definition of good behavior from the dictionary is:
good behavior
noun
satisfactory, proper, or polite conduct.
conduct conformable to law; orderly conduct: The convict's sentence was reduced for good behavior.
proper fulfillment of the duties of an office, especially a public office: The incumbent could not be discharged during good behavior.

Here are some tips to teach your children about good behavior:
1.  To be a role model
2. To be patient
3. To be a good listener
4. To know the rules, follow the rules at home
5. To know the rules, follow the rules at school
6. Together, make a list of rules, what you expect from your child and display the chart/list
7. Share a story about a time that you misbehaved, what were the consequences

Behavior Bear
is one of the nine Characters of Character. Each character provides a Resource Book, a Bulletin Board and Poster Book and a Social Story available on Amazon, Barnes and Noble and BAM.

Be sure to visit Behavior Bear online to print out a coloring page. Use this page as a Journal cover for drawing and writing about good behavior, or use as a sticker chart. For the sticker chart:
1. Discuss good behavior
2. Write your child's name on the pencil
3. Let your child color Behavior Bear
4. Display the page as a visual and positive reinforcement
