Perseverance Pumpkin shares coloring activities to encourage perseverance! Use the pages as a Journal Cover, a Sticker Chart, a visual reminder for yourself and your children to persevere, to never give up, to try again! This book is available on Amazon and other online book stores.
Take life one day at a time. Don't become anxious if you're not where you want to be, you're where you're suppose to be, don't be overwhelmed if you haven't finished a task, progress is progress and progress will get the task done!
I absolutely love to Journal! When raising our now three adult kids, I would often tell them to write things down, if they weren't ready to share their thoughts with us, write it down. To this day, they all 'write it down' . Journals today are fancy, they come in hard covers, all different sizes and variations. I kept it simple and encourage you to do the same until your children truly embrace the process, of course, it's your call. Below is the Do'er Duck Character Building Coloring Book, perhaps copy a page, have your children color the page, discuss with them what the page says, communicate...........then, either on the back of the page or on a blank copy paper page, let them write and draw about their thoughts and feelings on this. It is so empowering to watch not only your child evolve and discover what they are dealing with, but, it will open doors of communication to discuss a solution.
