Until now, I really didn't give this much thought, when you say to your child "behave yourself" do they know what that means? Naturally we want our children to have good behaviors!
Here are some tips from Behavior Bear:
1. Be a good listener
2. Keep your hands and feet to yourself
3. Keep your eyes on the speaker
4. Follow the rules at home (teach your children what these are)
5. Together, discuss good behavior, make a visual chart
6. Follow the rules at school (ask your teacher if you're not sure)
7. Follow the rules when you're traveling, (ask an adult if you're not sure)
8.  Be a role model for your children
9. Teach them, don't just tell them
10. Use visuals and use your voice, your children will listen and that is quite nice!
