Characters of Character

Joni is the creator of this wonderful organization.  She created these Characters over ten years ago and after seeing the positive impact that our Characters had on children she decided to form a nonprofit organization.  Since 2007 she has been working hard at introducing these Characters to communities across the nation.  Joni runs the booths at various events, makes sure that the games are being played properly, and talks about what it means to have good character to children and parents that visit.  Her current project is writing songs for a very special project we will be announcing soon.

Joni has been working in education for over 25 years.

Joe is Joni's very supportive husband.  He is a carpenter, which is a GREAT asset to our organization.  If we need something, he will find a way to build it.  Joe will also be at various events to make sure that things are running smoothly, and that the Characters in costume are taken care of.

Joe is also the author of our new book, Tune Into Good Character.

Without Joey our program would not be where it is today.  Joe was the first one to put the characters on the computer, allowing us to create the curriculum that we now use in our character education program.  

Josh, seen in the left on the photo, has a variety of jobs at Characters of Character.  You will find Josh at our events capturing the special moments on camera.  He also creates the character education games that you see on our website.  On top of that, he is also an editor and is working with Joni on that very special project we will soon be sharing with you.

Josh also has a bachelor's degree from Monmouth College.  He was also the illustrator for our book, Tune Into Good Character.

Jenny is on the left with Jacky, volunteer, on the right.  Jenny takes care of all the social networking sites and our website.  She also creates the curriculum that you can find in our character education program.  At events you can find her helping the characters in costume.  Jenny is also in charge of marketing and getting the word out about our organization.

Jenny is in the process of getting her Associates Degree from McHenry County College.
